Sharing our daily routine with each other
Was something we always looked forward to
For anything happy, sad, fun, exciting
I was just a phone call away

Whether it was a weekend meet-up
Or planning an adventure
For discussing all the little details
I was just a phone call away

We argued, we fought
We agreed to disagree and move on
For resolving all our conflicts
I was just a phone call away

During illness or injury
During mood swings n lows
To vent out and feel better
I was just a phone call away

We truly loved each other
We genuinely cared for each other
To express these emotions
I was just a phone call away

Gone are those phone calls
Gone is that bond
Only memories remain
To cherish along

Now its email and FaceBook
For all communication
It hurts, I wonder what changed
Although, I’m still just a phone call away!

I am not alone :)

Running errands and talking on the phone,
I am pleasantly reminded that I am not alone.

pushing and twisting that no one can see.

The above poem touches me very deeply.

I haven't announced it on my blog here, so here goes - I am in my 25th week of pregnancy. Hubby and I are expecting our first baby in 1st week of August. We are excited, thrilled, and feel very blessed.

My pregnancy is changing me as a person in so many different ways. Everything happening within me is just amazing and fascinating. I feel extremely blessed to be able to experience such a beautiful thing in life.
