"A Friday ritual. A single photo - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember" - SouleMama
We got back earlier this week from another beach vacation. All of us had such a good time with family that even a 3-day work week felt too much. The kiddo hated going to daycare, and I had a hard time getting stuff done at work. I really wish we lived minutes away from the ocean!
A picture-perfect sunset.....
As soon as she spotted the waves, she wanted to run towards the ocean....
She loves beaches n sunsets :)
Thrilled n excited....
I waited for a few minutes but she had no patience...she went right in to catch the waves....
Daddy's turn now....
What?? It's all over??? She kept saying..."Mumma water coming"...she wanted to stay there but it was very chilly....and she was shivering....check out her shoes :).....we had a hard time getting her back in the carseat!
She slept late last night after an hour of yapping in bed....I thought she will sleep until late, but sigh, she woke up at 6.15am and was full of energy! I'm so tired due to lack of sleep....an agenda-free relaxed weekend at home is on the cards!

Tempt you with a holiday in Maldives - world's best Robinson Crusoe spot ; way better than South Pacific or Hawaii or SE Asia ....
Look at all the breathtaking photos of Maldives on the Net. The only thing missing is R to make it the perfect photo :)
How I wish I lived near the oceans too! I have a travel wishlist and it's growing longer and longer. First on my list is Dhanuushkodi and other such ghost towns in India. I want to see them before some other tsunami strikes and takes everything away!
Ruhi is so cute! :) She seems to be in love with water! Awesome! :)
@Ramesh - Maldives is a great honeymoon destination ;)....yes I've seen the photos...some day with the kiddos :)
@Aaekay - I have traveled quite a bit within India but it's never enough. When I visit early next year, I'm planning to visit Kerala. Where do you live? I thought Chennai....which is close to the ocean.
Kerala is so beautiful. Just a suggestion, visit Ashtamudi in Kerala. It's a back-waters resort and is so very beautiful and breathtaking!!
I do live in Chennai, which technically is close to ocean. But I meant something like a beach-house!:D
My college is along the ECR stretch and that's the coast of Bay of Bengal. It's really beautiful. I prefer spending time on the ECR stretch than college sometimes! :D :P
