Hubby and I got a rare opportunity to spend an evening together without the daughter. We attended the Intel Winter Ball at Sacramento Convention Center last weekend....we did not stay until the end but it was nice to dress up and socialize with friends and enjoy the grand festivities.

One of my sister's friends who has always seen me in mommy-mode {think of PJs, t-shirt with food stains, hair tied up, and always a tired look} complimented me saying: "You look amazing...so different from what I've seen you so far" :) :) :) :)! Yeah, I still remember how to glam it up ;)
