Tea for Two Tuesday - #1

So my SAS (i.e. Smart n Sexy) friend Preeti Shenoy's third book is releasing in Feb, and having read both are earlier releases (which are national bestsellers), I can say without a doubt that this one is going to be a great read. She has worked the hardest on this book. I am not a person who enjoys reading much fiction, but her writing is based on true stories or incidences from her life....and that is why it appeals so much to me. I am a huge fan of her writing style as well.

She is hosting this meme, which I am excited to be part of.

The creative prompt for this week is:
"If I could invite anybody for 'tea for two' today it would undoubtedly be .................................."

Tom Brady :)!!!!

There are very few athletes that I am a huge fan of. I love NFL just because of Brady. In case you didn't know, he is the New England Patriots quarterback. He is outstanding on the field (has already won 3 Superbowls and has another chance this year), he is very sincere and hard working, he is a team player, he is not shy of accepting his mistakes or poor performance, he is from California (SF area), and it doesn't hurt that he's handsome too ;)!

So yeah, it would be wonderful to have a tea-date with him ;)!!!!

And yeah--I had misread it as Tony Brady and then realised it was TOM Brady after all :P

Nicely written though the main reason flowed in the end that he's very handsome so tea with him would be like a dream! ;)

See Preeti above was also much excited! :P

I loved the header pic Shachi! :D

Totally zapped - You invited Tom Brady ?? Wow. Absolutely gobsmacked that you actually like the NFL and follow it. Presumably you'll be glued to the telly for Super Bowl, but what a game Eli Manning had last week. If he repeats on the 5th .......

And he looks great too :)

@badBarbara - boo GB :)!
@Ramesh - the only thing I watch on telly is sports- I've been up since 2.30am to watch Fed vs Rafa and being a die hard Rafa fan, I'm delighted he won :).

Eli didn't play that well - the 49ers handed the game to the Giants I believe - bad bad fumble in the 4th quarter!

Tom looks amazing and his wife Gisele rocks too ;)

Oh well; we had all the drama, didn't we. I'm sure you must have been glued to the screen. A team that can pull it back at the last moment, deserves to win. Both Brady and Manning did very well.

@Aaekay - thank you!
@Ramesh - A repeat of 2008 - sucks big time! After watching the first quarter, I felt Giants were in total control, but that drive in the second quarter from half a yard to touchdown - wow...no wonder Brady is superbowl material. The Patriots defense let them down big time....great game though!

I was glued - and when I screamed at the second quarter touchdown, the daughter got so scared, she started crying :) :).....we had friends over and lots of appetizers that I made for everyone, so it was fun!
